The court system and child abusePlease understand I am usually a positive person. That being said...
I believe that Judges, lawyers, therapists, & accountants can be slow and sadistic (NOT ALL). There is a circle of life (money) that is perpetuated. While a Judge (former attorney) is used to being argumentative, they understand that they have to keep their regular lawyers happy and in business. These attorneys have a symbiotic relationship with the judges. The family court comes down to who can bash the other one better, and who has more money. One attorney hires therapists and accountants that favor their side. (Do not fool yourself. Some of these people are hired guns, experienced in their field and experienced in the court). With the right money you can hire an expert in anything. While most judges have no incentives to be fair, they do have incentives to be divisive. Making money for the state in the form of federal payments from the government for child support. (http://www.eagleforum.org/column/2005/may05/05-05-11.html) While the APA has made almost every excuse to remain indifferent they do so by ignorance and greed. Tens of millions of parents and children need therapy due to Parental Alienation. If they acknowledge Attachment Based Parental Alienation they loose potential income. Just like the medical industry. Why cure the disease when you can massage the symptoms and make limitless money? Why acknowledge a pervasive disease when you can treat for a lifetime? While countless lives are being snuffed out due to suicide and drugs these people have failed to react and sometimes enjoy the power that allows them to take a persons life. I do have to add: Slow but systematic movement has been made by the APA to Attachment Based Parental alienation. Sometimes too late, for the anguish that people have to go through. The facts right now: Due to failures in proper acknowledgements and protocols cause the pain and suffering of another individual is unconscionable. You are starting from an uphill battle and you had better be prepared. There are Judges, lawyers, accountants, therapists, APA people that do care and are educated in Parental Alienation. Find them, utilize their expertise, and respect them! The best outcome is mediation. If the ex-spouse fails to mediate odds are they believe they have something up their sleeve or are just doing this to harm you. You are no longer being the regulatory object and therefore you should disappear. It is hard to fight or understand crazy, after all, you had children with them. :) Point: Most of us came from broken or dysfunctional families. While you may be in the normal range of parenting you may have come from a background of adversity. I am not a therapist nor do I ever proclaimed to be one. Just a person that misses their children too. Doing everything I know, to regain my relationship with my children. |
